The Runaways were a 70’s all girl rock group featuring Joan Jett (Kristin Stewart) and Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning). Their road to fame is documented from their teenage years as they go through the tough times with an abusive manager named Kim Fowley (Michael Shannon).
