To-be father Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) has to reach home before his wife Sarah Highman (Michelle Monaghan) gives birth to his child. Unfortunately, his name appears on a no-fly list and the only way he can now reach home is by road. He is offered a ride by Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) and this is where the journey starts. From the non-stop talking and fighting, to the car jumping of the bridge, the ride turns out to be a disaster for Peter. After that they both take a ride with Darryl (Jamie Fox) and the journey continues till they reach home right on time.
